Residents and visitors are encouraged to annually vote for their favorite sculpture as part of the Douglas County Art Encounters program. Voting has closed for the 2023-2024 program year, but once new sculptures are installed in May 2024, voting will re-open in June for the 2024-2025 program year.
There are two opportunities for artists to win a $1,000 award. One is through the People’s Choice Award and the other is through the Kids Choice Award, both of which are voted for by the public.
