The Douglas County Art Encounters Call for Entries for the 2026-2027 program year is OPEN! Artists can apply on CAFE or on ArtCall now through Friday, February 27, 2026. Please read the rules and requirements to ensure you meet eligibility criteria and understand the elements of this unique program.
Artists selected for the 2026-2027 program year can expect the following:
Program Year: Selected artists should anticipate an installation timeframe of mid to late May 2026 through May 2027.
Artist Stipend: Selected artists receive a $1,500 stipend, payable after installation of the work is completed.
Location: Selected artists may have their sculpture placed in any of the participating jurisdictions – Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Parker and Roxborough.
